HPC in the Cloud: Data Storage People

On the 17th October 2018 Red Oak Consulting held their third HPC in the Cloud customer seminar.  This time the event was held at the De Vere Beaumont Estate, Old Windsor.  The seminar focused on the current three most pressing matters when looking at HPC: Data Storage and People.  As always, we had a great panel of guest speakers; Microsoft Azure, Newcastle University, Met Office, Verne Global and, of course, Red Oak Consulting.  The seminar generated lots of interaction, with great conversation and debates, which continued throughout the day.  Not only did we find out more on data, storage and people but we also heard from some real life experiences and customer journey’s when transitioning to Cloud technology!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the event.  Without your support and participation we could not make these seminars happen.  Thank you to all who attended and those who presented.

The Red Oak seminars were created to allow people to share knowledge and information in an informal, enjoyable atmosphere.

We are proud to say the seminars are going from strength to strength, so look out for our next seminar which is going to be held in April 2019!!
